BIM Rule-Checking & Compliance Services
At AcePLP, we believe that regulatory compliance should be proactive, not reactive. Our Automated Compliance Check services help project teams validate their BIM models against regulatory and project-specific requirements—early, consistently, and with confidence.
We use rule-based model checking tools, including Solibri and other openBIM platforms, to translate complex code requirements—such as accessibility standards, spatial clearances, and digital submission rules—into machine-readable rulesets. These allow users to identify non-compliant elements early in the design process, reducing costly rework and improving submission quality.
Our automated checking workflows are especially relevant in the context of Singapore’s CORENET X initiative and the Built Environment Industry Transformation Map (ITM). By enabling pre-submission checks that are transparent, repeatable, and standards-aligned, we help our Built Environment community to prepare for the next generation of digital regulatory environments.
Why Use Automated Compliance Checks?
- Detect code violations (e.g. door clearances, ramp gradients) before they become construction issues
- Ensure models are structured and submission-ready (e.g. IFC+SG compliance)
- Gain real-time feedback on design compliance using visual dashboards
- Reduce time spent on manual review cycles and agency clarifications
- Improve coordination and accountability across design teams

Built on Open Standards
Our workflows are built on IFC+SG, ensuring compatibility with widely used platforms such as Revit, OpenBuildings, ArchiCAD, Tekla, and more. This ensures your models remain portable, maintainable, and future-ready.
As part of an ongoing Proof of Concept (PoC), we are developing an automated model checking platform that translates key accessibility requirements from Singapore’s Code on Accessibility into machine-readable rules. Using industry tools such as Solibri, our solution helps identify non-compliant elements—such as inadequate door clearances or improper ramp gradients—before submission or construction begins.
This initiative supports the broader goals of CORENET X and the Built Environment Industry Transformation Map (ITM) by enabling transparent, standards-aligned, and scalable compliance workflows.
Collaborate with Confidence
Whether you’re preparing a digital submission, auditing for compliance, or integrating automated checks into your internal QA workflows, AcePLP brings the technical knowledge and regulatory insight to guide you through every step. We are inviting consultants, contractors, and Qualified Persons (QPs) to participate in our beta testing programme for this automated compliance checker.
- Test automated compliance checks using your own BIM models (in IFC+SG format)
- Experience real-time feedback and issue visualisation through model-based dashboards
- Receive guidance from our team on rule interpretation and model structuring
- Help shape the development of a national digital compliance solution
- Be part of an early group advancing smarter, more efficient regulatory submissions in Singapore
If you’re interested in exploring how model-based checking can improve your submission quality and reduce iteration cycles, contact us at [email protected] to join the beta test group.
