Vanessa Tang
Managing Director
As Managing Director of AcePLP, Vanessa Tang leads the company’s strategic growth and direction, with a focus on empowering the digital built environment community to deliver and manage high-quality, structured information through interoperable BIM workflows—ensuring data integrity, clarity, and long-term usability across the asset lifecycle.
She collaborates with industry professionals, trade associations, technology partners, and institutes of higher learning in support of regulatory initiatives such as the Built Environment Industry Transformation Map, helping align AcePLP’s services with evolving project needs and national digital standards.
A passionate advocate for workforce development, Vanessa champions AcePLP’s apprenticeship and training programmes—creating meaningful career pathways and equipping the next generation of BIM professionals to lead with skill, resilience, and purpose. Her leadership reflects a belief that true transformation is driven not only by technology, but by the people who shape and apply it.
As Executive Director of Services & People at AcePLP, Valerie Tang leads the delivery of digital and information management services with a strong focus on quality, consistency, and responsiveness. She oversees project execution across the built environment—from buildings and infrastructure to industrial and plant sectors—ensuring that every engagement is grounded in technical rigour and operational excellence.
Valerie also serves as AcePLP’s people leader, championing a talent-first culture that nurtures growth at every stage. From onboarding and apprenticeships to upskilling and mentorship, she is committed to building a workforce that is not only technically proficient, but also resilient, adaptable, and future-ready.
